Brazilian mixed martial artist (MMA) Miguel Pereira admitted that he does not share the enthusiasm of fans around the Swede of Chechen origin Khamzat Chimaev. His words are quoted by MMA Fighting.

The Brazilian is convinced that Chimaev has not yet met serious opposition in the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC). "I don't see the monster that everyone is talking about. In the fight with Gilbert Burns, let's see who Chimaev is. I admit that he will surprise me, but he is no better than Burns," he said.

Chimaev should meet in the UFC octagon with Burns at the organization's tournament on April 9. So far, the Chechen has not suffered a single defeat in his career.

Chimaev had four fights in the UFC and won four early victories. In his last duel, he forced the Chinese Li Jingliang to surrender. In total, Chimaev has ten victories in ten fights. The fighter is a native of Chechnya.
